Lippmann Collection Says Happy Birthday to You with Lots of Glitter Love - Makeup and Beauty Blog
The yr was 1999… I'd finished school and moved back in with my parental units while I looked for a job and tried to unwind.
My BFF/dancing buddy J. Coin and I were also deep in our clubbing phase. I'll never forget — it was the same thing every time we'd go out. One of our Filipino parents would ask, "Are you girls going to the disco?"
LOL!
Or, "Are y'all going disco-disco?"
Hearing parental units refer to "the club" as a disco… That's just so funny. It always cracked us up. 🙂
Even so, there are times when "disco" just feels like the meliorate give-and-take, ya know? — similar when information technology comes to Lippmann Collection's Happy Birthday ($18), the newest addition to their permanent blast polish line.
This stuff's so blinged out and sparkly that information technology would be a shame non to article of clothing information technology to "the disco," ha!
It'south all well-nigh taking glitter to the next level, with bits in a plethora of shapes, colors and sizes — red, orangish, yellowish, green, bluish, majestic and silver.
For a total-on, eyes-rolling-to-the-back-of-the-head glitter-gasm, try three coats. 🙂
Three coats!
Two coats — when y'all're in the mood for quieter glitter
So far I've only worn Happy Birthday by itself, only I'g guessing it would look actress festive layered beneath a polish in solid blackness or scarlet.
Removing glittery nail polishes tin exist a major chore. This post hither might assistance.
I bet Happy Bday makes a great gift, as well. It'southward aptly named, after all. Perchance with some sweetness treats, a Laguna Beach: Flavour One DVD and 1 of those Sephora gift cards…
Only thing is the $18 office. That's kinda pricey for a blast polish, only with all the various glitter shapes and sizes, information technology seems like a unique product. I can't remember seeing something like it before.
Because it's Lippmann, information technology's durable, resists chipping and doesn't incorporate nasty formaldehyde, toluene, and dibutyl phthalate.
Wearing information technology, I can't help simply smile and experience a piddling happier than I was a moment ago. I'd be even happier if it were cheaper, LOL! But C'est la vie. Makeup and Dazzler Weblog Rating: B+
Time for an intervention
*Ring-a-ling-a-ling!!*
Hello?
Yeah, how-do-you-do, Karen, this is destiny. I'g calling to tell you that yous're nonetheless on track to condign a Crazy True cat Lady.
Oh, skilful. 🙂
Last night I had to practise some shopping at Target. Information technology wasn't until I was in line at the checkout that I fully realized what I'd washed. I just got a few things; in addition to some Lather and Glory products (reviews coming before long!) and a massive tub of rocky route ice cream, I'd also caused an outfit for Tabs.
He looks so professional person, doesn't he? In his footling blue tie?
At present he needs his own desk, also, and some Post-Its. Maybe also an abacus. Hmm…
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
